Ramona and I made a special trip to downtown San Francisco Friday evening to see the Frida Kahlo exhibit at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.  For details of the exhibit please go to their website SF MOMA..

I have always been a fan of Frida and seeing her art in person expands my admiration. You feel her passion, sorrow, pain and life in this amazing exhibit. You understand her art and how she translated her feelings passionately through her painting. .

My friend June and Aunt Donna joined us and both found a deep appreciation in her art. June, who never ever heard of Frida before the exhibit, found a connection of loneliness with her and fell in love with her paintings after understanding Frida’s pain. .

If you are near SF or planning a visit soon I highly recommend seeing the exhibit. The tickets are reasonable in price and I suggest spending the extra $3 for the audio tour as it allows you to see deeper into her art and life.
